The Kilmer PTA would like to welcome every Cougar back for a brand new 2026-2027 school year. As students settle into their classes, learn new routines, and meet new friends, your PTA is here to help support the well-being and academic success for all of our students.

We’ll share important updates on upcoming events, volunteer opportunities, and ways you can help support our school community. Become a member of the Kilmer PTA for just $20 per yearfor your entire family and $10 for staff. Your dues will go to help fund the essential programs, student resources, and educational opportunities that make Kilmer a wonderful place to learn and grow. Becoming a member also helps ensure your voice is heard on events and issues that impact Kilmer and our community at the Local, County, State, and National levels. Becoming involved has never been easier, and every contribution makes a difference! 

As a thank you for joining the PTA, all members who join before Wednesday, September 23rd, will automatically be entered into a raffle to win a $100 Amazon Gift Card. Drawing will take place at our September 23rd PTA meeting. (Note: You do NOT need to be present to win!)

Confused with how Middle School works? You’re not alone! Join Principal McFarlane this Wednesday for an informative session about navigating middle school life at Kilmer.

Principal McFarlane will provide an overview of how Kilmer operates, highlight key information, and answer any questions you may have with a Q&A session. We hope to see you there!

Celebrate the start of the school year by making a stop at Jeni’s Ice Cream, located at The Boro! Enjoy your favorite scoops of ice cream while supporting the PTA.

The Kilmer PTA is a 100% volunteer-run organization, and there are many different ways to get involved! Whether you have minimal time, a lot of time; enjoy working with people, working alone; working from home, or being at school – we can help match you with something that suits your interests and schedule! On Tuesday, August 18th, the PTA welcomed Kilmer teachers and staff back to school with a taco breakfast bar from Taco Bamba. Our teachers and staff were so appreciative and excited at getting the new school year started! Thank you to our Hospitality committee, Smruti Parekh, Khadija Qayyum, and Harini Machani, for providing our teachers and staff with the delicious breakfast tacos.

Need some Kilmer Swag? Stop by the PTA table during the After School Activities Fair, this Thursday, September 10th, 4:00pm – 6:00pm, where you can purchase some tshirts or hoodies to help show off your Cougar pride! Tshirts are $12; Hoodies are $25.

The PTA’s mission is “to make every child’s potential a reality,” and your new Kilmer PTA Board is looking forward to collaborating with you to make this year impactful and memorable for all our students.
