Kilmer Food Pantry

Over 60,000 Fairfax County kids are on free or reduced meals. 55,000 receive Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits. Kids attending class hungry are at risk for decreased academic performance. Food insecurity affects kids' concentration, mood, and memory.

 

Kilmer Middle School and the Kilmer PTA partner to help feed our students in need. The Kilmer Food Pantry was established to ensure Kilmer families get the nutritional support they need. The KMS Food Pantry is proud to have expanded services, including providing families with groceries, offering school supplies, and providing warm coats and new socks in the winter. 

 

We can’t do this without the generosity and support of our Kilmer Middle School community. There are many ways to support food security at Kilmer.

How to get involved in supporting our school community today!

Donate non-perishable food and hygiene items from our Amazon wishlist. Items will be delivered directly to Kilmer Middle. If the pantry address is not populating, please send items to: Kilmer Middle School Food Pantry, 8100 Wolftrap Road, Vienna, VA 22182.

 

To meet our goal of providing groceries and support to children in need, here's how to help:

  1. Select items from our Amazon wishlist to be sent directly to the Food Pantry.
  2. Donate funds directly to the PTA and we’ll do the shopping for you!

  • Cereal
  • Tuna/Chicken Cans
  • Pasta
  • Tomato Sauce
  • Ramen
  • Cans of Vegetables
  • Beans (dried)
  • Peanut butter
  • Cans of Fruit
  • Mac-n-cheese
  • Vegetable/Canola Oil
  • Rice (1 lb bag) White or brown
  • Detergent
  • Granola bars/chewy/Nutrigrain bars (box of 8)
  • Full-sized hygiene products
