October’s Food Pantry Distribution

Over 60,000 Fairfax County kids are on free or reduced meals. Kids attending class hungry are at risk for decreased academic performance. Food insecurity affects kids’ concentration, mood, and memory. The PTA is grateful for your continued support to our food pantry so that we are able to help families in our Kilmer community have the extra necessities needed for students to thrive both at home and at school.

How to Help:

DONATIONS

  • Donate from our Amazon Wish List. Every contribution—large or small—makes a difference.
  • Make a monetary donation to our Food Pantry Fund. We’ll do the shopping for you!
  • Donate non-perishable items in the marked carts located in the main office. Visit our PTA website for suggestions.

VOLUNTEER

  • We are always looking for help with buying, picking up donations, bagging, and help distributing. Please email our Food Pantry Chair if interested.

We thank you for your continued support this year!
