PTA REFLECTIONS

2026-2027 Reflections Theme

Reflections_26-27

Do you enjoy art, music and dance or have an interest in writing, producing films or taking photos? Then, chase this opportunity to unleash your inner artist through PTA Reflections!

PTA Reflections is a national, judged competition and showcase of student art across disciplines. The Reflections program helps students with both art appreciation and helps boost their confidence in their own artistic abilities. Each year over 300,000 students in pre-K through 12th grade create original works of art based on a given theme. This 50+ year old program helps them explore their own thoughts, feelings and ideas, develop artistic literacy, increase confidence and find a love for learning that will help them become more successful in school and life.

One artist in each category will be submitted by the Kilmer PTA to the County level, with subsequent tiers at the state and national level.

This year’s theme is “What My Culture Means to Me” which you can read more about on the National PTA Reflections page.

How do I participate?

Visit the rules and guidelines for each category. Submissions, along with this entry form, are due to Kilmer PTA at a date to be determined in the Fall.

The information for the Local PTA at the top part of the form is:

LOCAL PTA: Joyce Kilmer Middle School PTA

NATIONAL PTA ID: 00014235

LOCAL PROGRAM CHAIR: Katie Qutub

Artist Statement is important! Judges will be reviewing each submission per the established criteria and your statement helps provide context.
